Important Message for Slavic401k Clients on COVID-19

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation unfolds, I want to communicate to you that we are ready.

Slavic401k has a strong track record of preparing for many kinds of emergencies, including a potential pandemic. We are taking the spread of this virus seriously and we urge our customers to do the same.

We prepare year-round for the unexpected to ensure we can continue to deliver the high level of service you have come to expect from our organization. With our corporate headquarters sitting squarely within a hurricane prone area in South Florida, we have worked hard over the past decade to ensure our entire team is able to function as a fully remote workforce, which we’ve transitioned to effective today.

Here are some things I’d like for you to know:

• Data Security - 5 years ago, we moved all of our servers to a local offsite data center with a direct fiber connection to our corporate headquarters. All data is also backed up in real time to a secondary data center in Nashville, TN. This means that, from a data perspective, things couldn’t be more prepared.
  
  
  
• Location Diversity - 2 years ago, we opened up our Branch Office in Scottsdale, Arizona specifically to enhance our business continuity capabilities for events just like this. Between our Boca Raton headquarters, Scottsdale branch office and additional representatives strategically placed regionally throughout the country, our geographic diversity enhances our ability to provide our clients with seamless service through these types of disruptive situations.
  
  
• Workforce Flexibility - Progressively, over the past few years, we’ve migrated our entire team to work off of laptops and access our system via Remote Desktop. This transition has not only enhanced our cyber security capabilities, but has enabled our team to work from anywhere with the exact same capabilities they have when working onsite.
  
  
• Business Community – We understand that these are trying times for businesses and employees alike. We are committed to doing all we can to help each and every plan sponsor, adopting employer and participant-investor within the Slavic 401k family navigate the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team is currently working to deploy strategies, tactics and technologies to mitigate the impact of the virus on 401(k)-related activates for our clients and customers.
