up to date regarding the government response to the COVID-19 virus. Our goal is
to provide the latest information in real time so our clients can make the
necessary decisions to protect their business and employees.
As of April 1, 2020, employees
can start utilizing paid sick leave and/or enhanced FMLA leave (EFMLA) related
to COVID-19. If you have an employee who needs to use either one of these
leaves, we will need to have the form below completed by the employee. In
addition, we need them to furnish documentation validating their need for the
leave. It is clear from the Department of Labor information that
employers should not only request it but may be required to furnish this
evidence to support the attached tax credits that will be requested as a result
of an employee using these two types of leave. If you have any questions
